The test uses an immunochromatographic principle to detect HIV-1/HIV-2 antibodies in a sample. When the sample containing the antibodies and the buffer are added to the sample pad, the liquid mixture migrates to the conjugate pad, which contains latex nanoparticles embedded with HIV antigens. The HIV-1/HIV-2 antibodies from the sample bind to the conjugate and then to the immobilized HIV antigens in the test zone, forming a visible colored line.

1.Prepare a clean, dry workspace.  Wash and dry your hands before starting.

2.Before opening the reagents, take the kit out of the fridge and allow the reagents to warm up to room temperature (15-30°C).

3.Turn on the incubator. The device block will begin heating, and the current temperature will be displayed on the screen. Wait until until the temperature has stabilized at+40±1°C.

4.Ensure the milk sample is thoroughly mixed to achieve homogeneity before testing. For lyophilized samples, reconstitute according to the internal protocol of the facility
